In line with the "Crises" series of bronze sculptures, GAGO depicts the human's turn to prayer long after the curse has done its work. The old age of the woman represents the years of vanity gone by. She's praying, yet she's aware she's been cursed and that precludes her from bringing her arms together for a prayer.
